Six years ago, XODES was born from a passion for modular synthesis. Today, we celebrate this anniversary in a somewhat unusual setting : a period of total transition.
The past year has brought many changes. Between moving to a new region and navigating shifting global trade policies, we’ve had to rethink how we work.
Working in Transition
Currently, we are still between workshops. While we haven’t found our permanent home yet, we’ve established a functional, albeit smaller, temporary workspace. This means we are back to our roots : small-scale, highly focused production.
Because our current infrastructure is more compact than before, we are not yet as reactive as we used to be. We thank you for your patience as we work through our backlog, but we are officially back to assembling, testing, and shipping your modules.
Shipping & USA News
For our North American community : Shipping to the USA is fully operational. To maintain stability amidst global logistics updates, please note that the 10% global tariffs via the Trade Act are now factored into our US trade operations. Additionally, recent carrier adjustments have led to a minor increase in shipping rates. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these external changes.
A Flexible Production Strategy
To make the most of our temporary setup, we are launching Limited Pre-orders. By focusing on very small batches, we can guarantee quality and shipping within a 30-day window.
This strategy is especially key for our most requested designs, some of which remain exclusively available through our direct store. For the BCI Series (2HP), the highly requested Pico version is now available for pre-order in a small batch. Because these modules share a core PCB architecture, all other 2HP panel variants (as well as all backpack versions across the series) are built to order.
Honesty in Production : The B-Stock Launch
Over the years, we identified several faceplates with minor visual flaws : tiny scratches or imperfections that do not affect performance. In an effort to be sustainable and transparent, we are launching a B-Stock category at 15% off. These modules are 100% functional and bench-tested.
We are also maintaining our 50% “Spring Cleaning” discount on selected items like the PV44, which is about to get even more interesting. We are currently finalizing a brand-new companion module that utilizes its exact same expansion port design. If you want to be ready for this upcoming compatible release, now is the perfect time to grab a PV44.
The Road Ahead
We are moving away from long development cycles. Our goal is to share our progress more often, open up the workbench through this blog, and release new designs in smaller, more frequent waves.
